Pastor Bill Update

September 24, 2008

Today is Independence Day for Bill! He was released from the hospital this afternoon (9/24/08) and is at home enjoying looking at all of the cards and E-mails that were sent to him during his 12 week hospital stay. This is an amazing blessing from the Lord, our God. There is a long way to go yet and a lot of hard work. We will be learning patience between us as we work together toward real independence for Bill.

Bill is still walking with assistance and his right hand is getting more active and stronger. He wants to move in fast forward, but that isn't anything new. Bill has always been in a hurry to accomplish the task before him. His speech is clearer and his thoughts are more organized - at least most of the time.

Praise the Lord with us and thank God for His Body who loves and cares and so graciously provides in so many ways. We thank each and every one of you who have prayed and lifted Bill before the Lord. God is faithful and He watches His children and provides and heals in His time. What a mighty God we serve.
